If You Wait

If You Wait is the debut album by London Grammar. Their indie pop music combines melancholy instrumentals with powerful vocals. To play off their melancholy mood, I wanted to go with a somber color palette for the outside of the record album as well as a paper texture look to the cover . The record insert contains stronger surprising color that incorporates the brightness of the vocals contained within each song. The use of paper cutouts to form the title of the album and artists name helps further extend the woeful feeling as well as strength.
